The rooms are self contained and are equipped with a Queen / King Bed and 4 bunk beds a bathroom with shower and toilet. These rooms are perfect for longer stays or if you just wish to spread out a little. We have different configurations available and rooms can consist of a King bed in front room divided by a kitchenette then 4 bunks in back room or all beds (Queen and bunks) in back room and a warm lounge in front room.

Ski Mt Buller
One of Victoria's best ski fields only minutes away.
Mt Buller offers some of the best snow skiing in Australia with downhill runs for all skill levels, cross country trails, ski lessons, toboggan runs and family areas. One of Australia's most popular Ski fields and with over 50 snow machines, Mt Buller is a favorite every snow season. Merrijig Motor Inn can supply all you need for your trip to the Snow. The In House Hire Store can set you up on the Evening you arrive so you are ready to hit the Slopes early the next day we stock a huge range of Up to Date Ski's, Snowboards, Toboggans, Hire Clothing and Tyre Chains offering our guests a 10% Discount when you stay with us. Catering from the very young to seniors and all shapes and sizes. We also have Gloves, Goggles and Beanies for sale at discounted prices.
High Country in the Summer
The High Country provides some of the most scenic valley views in Victoria. See it by yourself or take advantage of guided tours either Bushwalking, 4x4 Driving, Trail Bike Riding, Mountain Bike Trails or from Horseback. Even a leisurely drive along the main roads can provide an amazing spectacle for the whole family.
See the Country where the move MAN FROM SNOWY RIVER was filmed, why not take a trip to Craig's Hut or one of the many other huts in the area.

Mountain Biking
Scenic and Downhill
Mt Buller provides some of the best mountain bike riding in Victoria, including downhill, uphill, tech courses and scenic rides. The mountain is host to the Bike Buller MTB Festival as well as championship and series events. MTB courses are available for all skill and fitness levels.
IMBA Ride Centre
Mt Buller is Australia’s first and only International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) endorsed Ride Center, meaning it joins a select group of mountain biking destinations around the world that represent IMBA’s Model Trail recognition for large-scale mountain bike facilities that offer something for every rider.

ABOUT THE EPIC TRAIL
Grade: Intermediate / Advanced
Distance: 40km
Riding time: 4 - 7 hours (ability dependant)
Fitness: High endurance, medium technical skill
Description: This journey takes riders through a variety of environments, and trail experiences. It utililises familiar favourites including Soul Revival, One Tree Hill, Gang Gangs, Picnic Trail, Cornhill Trail, Woolybutt and Stonefly (ascent). The experience gets a little more wild, as the trail continues through Mt Stirling to Telephone Box Junction, Razorback Trail, and deep into the forest to then thrill the rider with an endless descent flowing down to Carter’s Road. From there, a scenic river-side stint will bring you back to leafy Mirimbah Park at the base of Mt Buller and Mt Stirling Resorts. Please note: you will come across a cattle containment gate at Mt No 3 Rd - proceed through this gate (please open and close it), to continue on the EPIC trail.
Accumulated elevation ascent: 1,245m
Accumulated elevation descent: 2,187m
Highest point: 1650m (the top of Stonefly ascent at 11.6km into the ride)
Lowest point: 573m (the entry to the new Carters Rd/River section at 35.5km into the ride)
Longest descent: 8km - section off Pinnacle Track (1260m) to Carter’s Road (573m), this is a total elevation descent of 687m
